Elder Montgomery

Yep, it happened , today was the day, that one I hoped would come, knew would come, prayed for to come, and wondered at times if it would come, for 19 years we prepared for it, but nothing can really prepare you for it. He walked from my arms through the portal to a plane that took him to be where he can serve the Lord, he is still my Bubba, he is this amazing young man determined to go forward, to give all his heart to the Lord. Yet in all of this time and preparation, you can not possibly prepare your heart to hold so many emotions at once, so SAD to not be able to hug him, so HARD to say goodbye, WORRY that he will be ok and love his work and companions, so PROUD that he is the amazing young man you love, full of ANTICIPATION to hear from him already and he has just left, "Tortuous JOY". but with all of these emotions I would not change one thing! It has been a perfect transition, and will only through time prove that again Heavenly Father knows how to lead us to bring us to where we can grow and serve him the best to make us who he wants and needs us to be, if we give him our hearts.
The Great Comforter is such a blessing, he testifies to my heart that this is the exact spot Greg should be in his life, and that it will only get better from here. I love you with all of the Love a mother could have for her son, I am so proud of the Young Man you have allowed the Lord to mold you into, such an amazing person, kind, funny, tender, patient, obedient, quiet in thought, and now I can not wait to see what other attributes the Lord will bless you with,as you desire to work hard and serve Him, and I know that he Young Man who returns to us will be even more amazing. with all my heart I love you son, Mom

The day has arrived "The Call" has been issued

Greg and his Bud Taylor checking the mail!!! I promised him I would not get the mail and left that for him as soon as he got home from work it was a mad dash. I didn't get the mail but I did peek into the box to see if it was there.hehe

Our First Missionary! he reports Sept. 16th. How excited we are for Greg, he has worked really hard to get here, physically, spritually,and temporally. We pray for him now as he sets his mind in tune for what the Lords wants of him not what he wants for him self, and loses himself in the service of others, He has always had a tender heart and loving ways we know he will grow in ways that will turn this awesome young man into the Man the Lord desires him to be. We love you son. "POCATELLO,IDAHO" seriously!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

We were laughing so hard at him perched on the arm of the couch, it was a great blancing act.

I hope all of you who check out my blog don't mind, but I love this little guy so much, he has changed all of our lives and brings so much love and laughter to our family. It is amazing to see our teen age sons/uncles play with him and love on him, it is so sweet. Graham loves playing with them and Grandpa Dave. Grahambo made his first phone call to Grandpa when he was playing with my phone the other day Dave said let it be noted that his first call was to Grandpa, which is kind of cool cause he was only minutes old when Chelsea first call was to him too, (he was in Maryland) to tell him Graham was born. We are so very blessed, with such amazing children and now a wonderful handsome grandson.

AMAZING STAKE CONFERENCE

We had amazing Stake Conference visiting Authorities Elder Lance Wickman and Randy Funk.
Dave and Pres.Thornock were released. Pres Craig Salmon was called. So much more to add but emotions too high right now:).
AND
Greg was ordained an Elder today,as asoon as he finishes the BofM he can start his papers. can't believe it, where have the last 19 yrs gone?
